I Co-Founded The Factory with the principle of bringing together some of the most exciting, daring and talented individuals working in Theatre.
In doing so we aimed to create work outside of the normal confines of the theatre industry, such as limited rehearsal periods, funding dependency, and tired strategies of audience development.
I wanted to create it as place for long-term development and exploration of the theatre craft.
It’s success is in no small part down to the high quality of work that is achieved through this way of working.
I oversaw all aspects of the company’s creative and administrative projects; instigation and development of all in-house and public work, as well as building industry collaboration in both theatre and broadcast media.
Between 2006 and 2010 I lead the company to be recognised by audiences and the press alike as “the most innovative, and daring team producing regularly in London”.
